This advent calendar is always a favourite. Forget about the chocolates because instead we have twenty four different jute hanging adornments that sit neatly in the twenty four pockets. Daily in the lead up to Christmas, one adornment is removed from one pocket and placed on the tree. The closer we become to Christmas Day , the more majestic the tree becomes. The last decoration to adorn the tree is the star on Christmas Eve. A zipped pocket on the back of the wall hanging holds the adornments neatly when not in use.
The Christmas tree and star are hand appliquéd onto the jute material background. The words happy Christmas and the numbers in the individual pockets are hand embroidered.
Length is approx 74 cms ( without jute braided tie for displaying)
Width approx. 51 cms
